Julie Ash (12U Head Coach)
Coach Julie played 8 years of club, 1st, 1st, 2nd, 5th place 4A high school state finishes
4 year starter at Pacific Lutheran University (All-Conference 4 years, 2004 Conference Player of the Year)
She has coached since 2005. Heidi Deford (14U Head Coach)
Heidi has been coaching for 10 years. She has coached all age groups and feels that coaching volleyball is about more than just the game, it’s about helping girls develop the work ethic, drive and all of the character building traits that come from playing at a competitive level. As a former college athlete Heidi has a lot of passion and truly enjoys sharing that passion with her players.
Kendra Henry (Specialty Coach)
Kendra Henry just finished her 3rd year as a Head Coach at Elma High School. Before coaching at EHS, she played volleyball for four years at Warner Pacific College and graduated with a BS in Elementary Education. Kendra is a 2nd grade teacher at Elma Elementary. Kendra has been playing volleyball her whole life. She started playing club when she was 8 and has been with Capital Volleyball since they started in 2005.
Kendra's volleyball achievements are many. In college she was Academic All Conference in 2014 and 2015. While at Black Hills High School, she was a varsity player and went with her team to the State Tournament all four years. Her senior year she was named to the all state team. Kendra was voted to the all area team, team captain and MVP her junior and senior year. Kendra has coached a 12U team and five years at 15U and 16U.

Tracie Lindeblom (13U Head Coach)
Tracie Lindeblom is an Olympia native, graduating from North Thurston HS where she played setter and outside hitter for her varsity volleyball team. She then went on to play setter and right side hitter for Centralia College. Tracie earned her Massage Therapy license where she focused on treating sports injuries. Tracie has coached club for 15 years both in Washington and Southern California. She has also coached high school boys and girls volleyball, most recently at Timberline from 2012 to 2014. Tracie is a certified mental trainer through Positive Performance.
Tracie’s coaching philosophy is “Never Stop Learning”. This goes for players and coaches alike. We learn from each other in practices, during matches whether we win or lose and by growing our knowledge of the game. This can be applied to helping us improve ourselves in all areas of our life.
In the 30 years that Tracie has been involved in the sport of volleyball, she continues to learn and gain new knowledge that will help her players grow individually and her teams improve throughout each season.
Chris Linke (18U Head Coach)
Chris has coached with South Puget Sound Community College. Chris has coached ten seasons with Capital Volleyball Club, including eight as a head coach. He has coached 15 to 18U teams and made a Junior Nationals appearance with the Capital 17U team in 2012. Chris also finished two seasons as the women's assistant volleyball coach at the Evergreen State College (2013/14) where the coaching staff led the team to tie for the best record in the history of the program.
Chris has been playing competitive volleyball for 15 years. Notable accolades include; 3rd place finish at the 2013 Open National Championships (Men's A), NAGVA Men's AA MVP, Triple Crown winner, 2006 All Armed Forces Championships gold medal and All-Tournament honors.
During his time coaching he has also worked as a recruiter; with this experience he has helped club players secure positions at the college level including NCAA, NAIA, and NWAC. Coaching since 2005, Chris brings a strong offensive approach to the game with defensive know how and technical driven play.
Morgan Pilon (18U Head Coach)
Coach Morgan has coached 2 years at the Bothell volleyball club (2014/15- U13 head coach & 2016/17- U15 assistant coach). She played for Northwest University, 4 year starting setter and their team went to Cascade Collegiate Conference Tournament every year. She holds career assist record. She played at Tumwater high school (Varsity 2 years). 2nd place in state- 2012, 6th place in state-2013. High school awards, 2013 1st team Evergreen conference and 2013 All State team. She played for Capital Volleyball Club 2011-2014 and attended Junior Nationals in 2012. She also played for Olympia Volleyball Club, 2008-2010 and attended Junior Nationals in 2010.
Gatalina Schuster (Specialty Coach)
Gatalina graduated from Northwest Nazarene University with a BS in Biology, with an emphasis towards Physical Therapy. She will continue her journey to achieve her goal in becoming a Physical Therapist. She attended college on scholarship for volleyball and softball. She played two years of volleyball and softball at Lower Columbia College and transferred to NNU to continue finishing her career in softball. This is Gatalina's second year of coaching with Capital Volleyball Club and she hopes to learn and continue impacting young athletes lives through the game of volleyball. Aside from coaching Gatalina loves to spend time with her family and friends, participating in outdoor activities, and road tripping to new places. Coach Gatalina was a member of the very first Capital Volleyball Club team.
